Fundraising and YC !!!

This week has definitely been a tougher one of the many, living with new 'chronic illness' does bring physical problems (which are going over now), but it also brings emotional issues. You have good days, bad days, and okay days. Sometimes it honestly feels that if you don't know whether to look right, go left, go right, or anything, but through it all God has been here, and this week there were some positive points. Like such; my fundraising efforts;talking to people and writing letters are paying off. God is ...man....wow. just wonderful and awesome.
Donations have been coming in, which is one of the best things ever. In the beginning, one of the hardest things to do for me was to ask for donations. I knew people would support me but it takes a lot of humiliity to ask for money, no matter the situation. That was tough for me and God definitely helped and supported me through that.
Along with be super supportive of all things bout me, my family is also getting more and more excited for the approaching trip. This trip has seriously been one of the most high points in my health ordeal through the past couple months. Along with being excited, my nerves are also jumping quite a bit. Not nervous that things are to go wrong or anything, just general nervousness about meeting new people, stepping out of my boundaries (majorly), and flying lots.Generally i really don't mind flying *(mind you I've only flew once :) ) but through the entire trip we have to take off 6 times and land 7 I believe. So whoo...I'll defiantly be bringing my digital camera!!
Carrying on...not literally :) but my carry on that my grandpa ordered for me did come in and it is beyond perfect. It has compartments, and a sturdy durable outside..it will work so well. Along with that my other travel carrier also came. My mom ordered it from air miles. it will hold my passport and important documentation. It's so exciting to have things coming together. Pretty soon I'm gonna have to start packing!!!!!
Another thing to greatly look forward to is that in 12 days only some youth from my church will be heading for a long 8 hour drive in a school bus to Edmonton to attend a conference. Not only a conference, but YC 2009. http://www.ycgeneration.com/ so that is uber exciting. We attended last year and it has (and will ) continue to change many lives
